Monster Mash: October 28
Help plan one of our school's most anticipated family events of the year! Monster Mash is a fun-filled Halloween celebration featuring music, dancing, games, festive treats, and plenty of school spirit for students and their families.
Used Book Fair: November 2-3
Help give books a second life while fostering a love of reading throughout our school community! The Used Book Fair provides students and families with the opportunity to purchase gently loved books at affordable prices, with proceeds supporting PTA programs and school initiatives.
Election Day Book & Bake Sale: November 3
Help give books a second life while raising money to support PTA programs and initiatives that enrich the educational experience of our students. The Used Book Fair and Bake Sale offer community members visiting our school to vote, the opportunity to browse and purchase gently loved books at affordable prices while enjoying a selection of delicious baked goods.
Scholastic Book Fair: December 9-12
Help bring the excitement of the Scholastic Book Fair to our school! This committee works together to create a fun and engaging shopping experience that encourages a love of reading while raising funds to support our library and school programs.
WinterFest - December 12
The WinterFest Committee is responsible for planning and executing one of the school's signature winter community events. This festive celebration brings families together for an afternoon of seasonal fun, entertainment, and activities.

As you can see, the PTA does a LOT of great stuff for PS59, but we need a lot of help in order to do it all!
We therefore encourage every PS59 community member to please find some time to volunteer throughout the school year. Whether it be pitching in during a school event, doing data entry from home, designing bulletin boards and artwork for events, or spearheading a fundraising activity, there are countless fun, worthwhile ways to step in and get involved!
